Hard drive shredding

The 8 stage process

STAGE 1

You tell us what you want to destroy, when you want us to do it, and to what particle size.

STAGE 2

Our mobile shredder arrives at your premises on the agreed date and time.

STAGE 3

Clear chain of custody – our security vetted, trained employees transfer your hard drives or media into the lorry shredder.

STAGE 4

Your media is never left unattended – a vetted employee stays with it at all times.

STAGE 5

Hard drive serial numbers are captured before the media is then shredded down into fragments as small as 6mm if necessary. Ear defenders and goggles are supplied to clients who want to witness the process.

STAGE 6

We provide you with an Interim Certificate of Destruction and signed Waste Transfer Note while on-site to fulfill your regulatory obligations.

STAGE 7

We carefully dispose of the debris according to government regulations.

STAGE 8

On return to base we will issue you with a final report containing your Certificate of Destruction. You can also receive an asset register detailing the make, model and serial number of each asset destroyed, and searchable CCTV video evidence of the process.
